So, you can't actually put your phone into recovery mode unless the phone is unlocked. Like, you can't put it into recovery mode using the volume buttons and power buttons? No. Yeah. So the fake phone you can only put into recovery mode if you dial numbers on the dial pad. So you have to be on, the phone has to be unlocked.
