The customer is inquiring about the disappearance of the Waze app after a recent update and issues with backup functionality.

Well, normally it does work properly. A lot of customers do use it when they get their phone repaired or when they have their motherboard switched. So if you wanted to do that, you would have to enable it, make the backup, and then get that back off of your phone, and then we'll be able to flash your phone.

Yes, so there was a pushback on the update. It was supposed to come out like a week ago. And they got rescheduled. It should be coming out by the end of today. They haven't given us any bad news about it being rescheduled again. So it should be coming out today. And they'll give you the ability to redownload Waze.

Yes, it's also supposed to include a major message app update that's going to be resolving a lot of issues that customers are having, even more so after the last update. So it is supposed to be fixed as well.

We did let them know about that issue. That I'm not sure is actually going to fix in this update or in a later update.

Yes, so the devs are working on a solution for that, but currently the only solution is for a flasher phone, which means that it's reinstalling all the software on it. You can't do that without having a proper backup.

Right now the Google Account that is there is only for seeing the contacts and I think for the Google Maps.

No, that is not functioning yet. Not functioning. Find My Device and Remote Wipe. Any plans to integrate that? I do know they have plans on trying to get that to work. I'm not sure what the roadmap is for it. I'm not sure when it's going to be enabled.
